Three for Thursday: These Parts Are an Ace to Replace

This week we’re going to make things easy for you by presenting for your perusal three outstanding motorcycle parts that were created to take the place of that dull, uninspired stock stuff on your ride. So you get a new fresh look — some form and function — and a bonus because the installation is easy. It’s the best of both worlds.

Crusher Power Cell Staggered Duals

Kuryakyn part number: 508

Where does it go? This exhaust replaces your boring, power-robbing stock exhaust.

What makes this part so great? Great looks and even better performance. Features include a cross-flow cell that makes this pipe perform like a two-into-one with the look of Staggered Duals, and a deep sound that is unmatched. Performance tuned and engineered by Mike Roland to be the ultimate street exhaust for late model Softails.

What is it made of? High-quality, mandrel-bent steel that is chrome-plated to perfection with chrome heat shields and a black and chrome power cell heat shield.

Is it hard to install? Simply remove the stock exhaust and replace the stock exhaust bracket with the provided bracket and install the new duals. It’s a simple eight-bolt installation. See installation instructions for details.

What bikes will this part fit? It will fit all 1986 to 2011 Softail models.

What else do you make to coordinate with this part? A Kuryakyn Air Cleaner (Hi-Five Mach 2 P/N 9455) and the TTS MasterTune (P/N 9220 for fuel-injected models) to build your own “Perfect Storm.” And for even more power, Kuryakyn also has High Performance Pistons and Cam Shafts as part of the Wild Things Performance line designed by Mike Roland.

Passenger Cruise Pegs for Goldwing

Kuryakyn part number: 7016

Where does it go? These pegs mount between the existing passenger floorboard and the frame, with the peg sitting just forward and to the outside of the rear passenger floorboard.

What makes this part so great? Form and function. It provides exceptional passenger comfort while maintaining a clean look. Your passenger can kick back and relax while you rack up those highway miles.

What is it made of? Chrome cast steel and aluminum.

Is it hard to install? Simply remove your stock passenger floorboard and place the passenger pegs between the board and frame and install the longer bolts provided. See installation instructions for details.

What bikes will this part fit? All 2001-’10 & 2012 GL1800 Models & GL1500 Aspencade Only (Not SE)

What else do you make to coordinate with this part? Passenger Armrest (p/n 8991) and Passenger drink holder (P/N 1481) are must-have items to keep your passenger happy on those long rides.

Serpent Shift Linkage

Kuryakyn part number: 1079

Where does it go? Replaces your stock shift linkage for something with a little more character.

What makes this part so great? Featuring a rustic and antique pewter finish, this shift linkage offers a unique look that’s far different from any other on the market. It can also be customized to fit any style by adding one of seven emblems (Wild Boar, Dollar Sign Blink, Eagle, Rose, Patriot, Ace of Spades, Skull)

What is it made of? Durable Zinc Alloy

Is it hard to install? Installation is a breeze. All you need is a ½-inch and 7/16-inch wrench. See installation instructions for details.

What bikes will this part fit? 1980-2011 Electra Glides, Road Glides, Street Glides, Tour Glides, Road Kings, Trikes, & 1986-2011 Softail Models (except ’97 through ’99 FLSTS).

What else do you make to coordinate with this part? Our Extended Girder shift lever (P/N 1026) and Deco Front Shift Arm accent (P/N 1044-1048) complete the look.
